If I think I can help, I do help, although it is not within my thing. So I think that’s how, it’s my guess that I got where I am.”

Revathi’s approach of giving 150% to her work while prioritizing her family paid off. She gained the trust and respect of her colleagues and superiors, leading to career growth and opportunities. She emphasizes the importance of open and candid conversations with management, stating, “If I feel that this is happening, I will talk to them, saying that I can do it, but I need help. So it is not all on me. So if you want to get these things done, there are few things I need from you.”

However, she remained focused on her skills and expertise, stating, “I know how to manage 50 engineers. That’s all it matters to me whether they have the right skill set to do their job. You need only one job at a time. And there are people who really appreciate what you can do and who don’t care about any of those things other than your skill set.”
