Hi, I’m Limor Bergman Gross.
I’ve spent over 20 years in tech leadership roles—starting as a software engineer and eventually becoming Director of Engineering at DigitalOcean. From the outside, it looked like I had it all together. But inside? I was exhausted.
For most of my career, I was the only woman—or one of very few—in the room. That never stopped me. But what did hold me back for years was staying quiet. I didn’t speak up about my achievements. I didn’t ask for what I wanted. I just kept my head down and hoped someone would notice.
Spoiler alert: they didn’t.
The turning point came when I was eight months pregnant with my second child. A management role opened up, and with a little push from my husband, I applied. That moment changed everything. It was the start of my true leadership journey.
Since then, I’ve raised four children while growing my career, moved countries, navigated bias, and pushed through burnout. I learned how to ask for what I needed, how to advocate for myself, and how to lead with presence—not just performance.
And now, I help other women do the same.
